What does AI visibility optimization cost?

Seven published prices, what sits inside each one, and the rules that connect them. Every full engagement starts with the $750 Baseline Audit, and nothing here requires a call to find out.

By Austin Brewer, founder of AI Visibility Partners · Updated 31 August 2026

What are the seven offers?

Two one-time diagnostics, three sprint or retainer programs, and two larger programs, in ascending order. The audit fee credits toward your first sprint month if you start within 30 days. There is no automatic conversion between tiers: each step ends and you choose the next one, or none.

Diagnostic

AI Visibility Snapshot

$495 one-time

3 to 5 buyer prompts, engine screenshots, a one-page directional readout, and a 30-minute call. Directional only: this is not a baseline and later movement cannot be measured against it.

AI Visibility Baseline Audit

$750 one-time

25 to 50 prompts, three fresh passes per scored cell, mention versus owned-citation versus third-party-source coverage reported separately, a competitor and source-gap map, crawl and extraction checks, a prioritized 90-day backlog, and a 60-minute readout. The fee credits toward your first sprint month if you start within 30 days.

Invitation-only · 2 slots

Pilot Sprint

$900/mo × 3

Two bounded remediation workstreams, up to 2 page implementations, and 1 authority brief per month, with a monthly report. Requires a completed Baseline Audit and a written agreement to a public case study. The discounted rate is what that agreement buys. Two slots exist; when they are filled, this row says so.

Sprint

90-Day Foundation Sprint

$1,500/mo × 3

The baseline panel re-measured, the two highest-impact workstreams each month, up to 2 page implementations per month, schema and technical QA, 1 authority brief per month, and a monthly report of what moved, either way.

Retainer

Foundation Monitoring + Maintenance

$1,250/mo

The matched prompt panel re-measured monthly, one priority change, one authority opportunity, an analytics check, a one-page report, and a quarterly review. The tier for firms whose structural work is done.

Retainer

Growth Authority

$2,750/mo

A 50-to-75-prompt panel, up to 4 implementation assets per month, two authority and earned-media workstreams, a GA4 and Search Console attribution review, and quarterly strategy sessions.

Custom scope

Multi-market / Category Authority

from $4,500/mo

Custom, scoped per engagement, and offered only after two independently successful client programs. If we have not published those two programs yet, this tier is not for sale yet, and we will say so.

What rules apply across every tier?

Four rules, stated here so they cannot drift between a sales call and an invoice. They exist because the vendor checklist on this site tells buyers to demand them, and a pricing page should pass its own site's test.

1

Every full engagement starts with the $750 Baseline Audit. Sprints without a baseline produce numbers that cannot be checked.

2

The audit fee credits in full toward your first sprint month if you start within 30 days of the readout.

3

No automatic tier conversion. Each engagement ends with a report and a decision that is yours, not a rollover.

+

Add-ons: an extra metro is $250/mo and an extra engine is $100/mo. Both scale the prompt panel and the measurement work, nothing else.

What is not included in the price?

Media spend, third-party tooling, photography, and website rebuilds sit outside every tier. Authority and earned-media work covers the pitching and the relationship work, not paid placements or sponsored posts, which we do not buy on a client's behalf. If a site needs rebuilding rather than restructuring, that is a separate project with a separate developer, and we will say so plainly rather than let it quietly consume the hours you are paying for.

What moves a quote inside a range?

Only the Multi-market tier is quoted; everything else is a flat published price. What the add-ons price is scope: each extra metro is a parallel set of location prompts in a different competitive field, and each extra engine is another column in every scored cell. Neither is priced on what a firm looks like it can afford.

What else do firms ask about pricing?

Does the audit fee really credit toward a sprint?

Yes, in full, against your first sprint month if you start within 30 days of the audit readout. If you take the audit and stop there, the deliverable is still yours: the prompt panel, the scored baseline, the source-gap map, and the 90-day backlog can all be handed to anyone, including another vendor.

Why publish prices when most agencies will not?

Because buyers ask AI assistants what things cost, and an assistant can only answer from pages that state a number. A firm with no published range is invisible on that entire class of question, which is the same problem we are hired to fix for clients. Publishing the ladder also filters the conversation: firms for whom this is out of budget find out in thirty seconds rather than after two calls.

Is there a cheaper way to start?

Yes, and it costs nothing. Send your firm name and city and we reply with one real AI answer about your market. It is one prompt rather than a panel and it is not a substitute for a baseline, but it shows you the shape of the problem before you spend anything. The $495 Snapshot is the next step up: a small directional read with screenshots and a call.

What happens when a sprint ends?

You choose. There is no automatic conversion from one tier to the next: a sprint ends with a re-measured panel and a written report, and the options from there are monitoring, a further sprint, Growth Authority, or stopping. Whatever was published during the engagement is yours either way, including the pages, the schema, and the prompt panel.

What result do you guarantee?

None, and we advise walking away from any vendor in this category who guarantees one. Engines do not sell placement and do not publish ranking rules. What we commit to is measurement discipline: a pre-registered prompt panel, three passes per scored cell, a stated noise floor, and a report that publishes what moved either way.

Want one real answer about your firm first?

Send your business name, website, and city. We reply with one real AI answer about your market, no charge. Baseline Audits run in the order they arrive, with a 60-minute readout when the write-up is done.
